I trained
at Bournemouth University and have been freelance for the last 15 years.
I've recorded sound
for both tape and film productions with my own kit which includes everything
you'd expect a documentary sound recordist to carry.
Experienced
I have experience of a wide variety of recording conditions and have
worked in countries all over the world including Europe, Africa,
The Middle East,
Canada and Japan. I am used to working quickly and sensitively, often
as a member of a very small team. I am often chosen for films where
these
qualities are important.
Professional
If I specialised in anything it would be observational documentaries
but I've done a variety of things, a healthly mixture of everything
including
documentaries, magazine programmes, wildlife, corporate, news and
some drama.
